What school should I attend?

Hi everyone, I’m 27 F and I feel called into hospital chaplaincy. I have my diploma in social services, and a bachelors in Christian studies and support services. I have felt drawn to hospital chaplaincy for years, and I tried working in a church setting for a while, but it didn’t work out.

I have managed to avoid debt so far, but to attend school again I would need to take out student loans. This is a big stress for me, so choosing a school and degree that will give me the best chance at finding a well paying career in my field is extremely important.

I just need some advice. What program should I take that gives me the best chance at getting my foot in the door, and a well paying position? Is there higher or lower paying positions in hospital chaplaincy? I am considering a Master’s of Psychospiritual studies at Emmanuel or Knox college, or a Master’s of Divinity at my other options.

What College is the best to attend, what do you recommend?

The institutions I am considering are as follows:

Emmanuel College, University of Toronto

Knox College, University of Toronto

Tyndale University

Regent College in Vancouver BC

McMaster Divinity College/University

Ambrose University

I am open to other suggestions too!! Any input would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

I’m 26 F and I have been a writer my whole life. It is my passion, but I also have ADHD. I have had an original novel on the works for years, but I didn’t know where to begin the process, and it felt like my own creativity only went so far.

And then I found ChatGPT, and it changed everything. I suddenly had structure and assistance, and I was able to expand on my own ideas and get past writers block for the first time in years.

In the beginning of using it I was elated, and my creativity was flowing. But then I started seeing post after post online about writers using AI assistance as essentially spitting on the craft.

My ideas are all my own, but two minds are better than one, and the mind I work with just so happens to be a super computer. But every time I open my laptop to start working on my novel outline, I feel this intense guilt like I lack originality and I am deceiving people into thinking that something written by a computer is actually my original work.

I deeply value the craft of writing, I’ve been writing stories and poetry since I was 9 years old.

How do you guys cope with that guilt? What are some reasonable arguments you have for using AI assistance in your writing?

Edit: I wasn’t expecting this post to get the engagement that it did, but I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has responded. I have really appreciated the insight I’ve received, and it has significantly alleviated my guilt. I was able to get a full section of my world Bible done today, and I am excited to write again!
