The bankruptcy filing finally hit my credit report and my credit score dropped 103 points.
Will it drop more once I’m actually discharged? How long did it take you to build your credit back up?

I just started the process to file chapter 7 in TN… lawyer told me to stop paying on all the debts, that it’s like lighting money on fire. It feels scary to just stop paying them but I also don’t want it to seem like I have no issue paying?
I think I just need someone to tell me it’s normal to stop paying once you file cause it’s freaking me out that I’m gonna get sued 😭
