Holy shit guys

Can you believe it, almost 6 months and saved over 1k that's madness. I just thought I'd check the app as I forgot about it tbh but that's a nice surprise. Feel like this is the one for me I have been here before but I haven't cheated not even once in this 6 months and I've had a couple of nights out drinking and didn't smoke which is usually where I fail.

So I'm a serial quitter I've quit many many times in my life. Been smoking properly I'd say from age 15 and I'm now 38 years old, so you can imagine how many quit attempts have been made. Usually I always fail due to having alcohol, I don't drink very often anymore so I would make it long stretches of time and then go to a party etc have too many drinks and end up smoking.

Now I can usually survive past a couple of drinks and not smoke it's when I start getting actually drunk that I don't care that it all goes to hell every single time.

I quit this year on the 1st Jan started with nicotine patches the get me off them probably used them for around 10 weeks or first couple of months and then I've been pure willpower since March time so done a couple of months by myself now with nothing.

Invited my friend round for a few beers Sunday evening because it was bank holiday, got quite drunk she doesn't smoke but vapes and I had access to tobacco on the house as my boyfriend who still smokes was home and he would of just given it to me if I had asked. I didn't though, I didn't smoke and I did think about it my friend helped me and said not to but I actually listened and didn't smoke I managed to get drunk and not feel the need to smoke, still had a great time, I think this could be the quit to end all other quits it could finally be the one!!
