Gelato #33 AAAA

This was my first time trying a strain from AAAA, also known as LOT420. I opted for the cheaper of the two Gelato 33 options, with this batch coming in at 23% THC.

Opening the bag, I was greeted with a lovely aroma straight away. Creamy on the nose with a light gassy hit and subtle citrus undertones. Nothing overpowering, but a very pleasant and inviting smell.

Flavour wise, it was nice and smooth. Creamy, earthy, and slightly piney with a gentle funk running through it. I also picked up some light cookie and cake-like notes. It's not a flavour bomb by any means,the profile is more delicate and refined on the palate. It combusts exceptionally clean and smooth, making for an enjoyable smoke.

Through the vape, it remained clean and smooth, although I didn't find the terpene profile translated as strongly as I had hoped.

Effects were excellent for daytime use. A really nice body relaxation without feeling too heavy or sedating, allowing me to stay functional and productive while still feeling nicely medicated.

Overall, a solid daytime strain with a pleasant flavour profile and relaxing effects, even if it doesn't quite deliver the loud terpene punch some may be looking for. 7/10

Next Friday - Mutant Tyre Fire

This was my first strain from Next Friday, and after hearing plenty of positive feedback, I was looking forward to trying it.

As soon as I opened the bag, the aroma hit hard. It's a sharp, creamy, old-school gassy funk with a slightly savoury edge. Definitely interesting on the nose and one that grabs your attention. Bright green buds with a frosting of sand across the top, this was looking lovely

The flavour however, was a little underwhelming for me. While the earthy, slightly gassy funk comes through, I wasn't quite seeing the hype that surrounds this strain. It lacks a bit of depth and body on the palate, although it combusts clean and smooth, it is easy to enjoy

On the vape this one comes through slightly more piney and fresh with a slight gassy backend

Effects wise, It delivers a relaxing body high while still leaving plenty of energy and motivation to get up and get things done, making it a versatile option throughout the day or evening. 7/10

Lobsterz - Green Karat

This is my third strain from Green Karat, and my expectations were high going into this one. I'd been looking forward to the drop for a while, so I was excited to finally get my hands on it!

Cracking open the bag you're immediately greeted by a lovely sweet, fruity candy aroma. As it settles, a creamy profile comes through with a slightly gassy backend. There's also a noticeable Zkittlez influence lingering in the background. Over all on the nose this smells great.

I rolled up a small tester as soon as it arrived and if I'm honest, I was a little disappointed by the flavour initially. So I've waited a few days and stored it in a jar with a Boveda pack before writing this review.

The flavour has definitely improved. It's very smooth on the inhale, with sweet, creamy, and earthy notes coming through, sweet candy after taste.

For the price point, I expected just a little more full flavour behaviour. Combusts very clean

That said, it's still an enjoyable smoke and certainly not a bad strain by any means.

Extremely relaxing throughout the body but not coach locked. Makes for a good 'session' smoke. 7.5/10

Permanent ink

Cracked this open and was really disappointed at first. Pretty much zero smell to start. Left it open on the side for 20mins and the smell really came out! Happy days. On the nose it hits with a sweet candy and gassy aroma. Smooth and creamy.

Slightly sherby sweet on the inhale with smooth rounded slightly gassy undertone. Not a huge flavour bomb but still tasty for the price. 7/10

Green Karat

This has a great bag appeal when you first open her up.

Nice sticky fresh buds that are great size. Picture shows the smallest buds out the bag

On the nose you are hit with funky gas, smoothing out into a slightly citrusy sweet candy smell. You could sit and smell this one all day.

She burns nice and clean. Quite musty on inhale, deep gassy on the exhale, With a sweet candy after taste in the mouth. Quite a complex layer of flavours this one.

Great body high, definitely a night time smoke.

Would recommend trying this one. 8/10
