Next Friday is the day I embark on building my first gaming pc. I have no idea what antivirus software I should install to protect my investment. Can anyone help me with what I should use and not use? I know that norton isn’t good.
I’m excited to almost have all the components needed to put together my first build. It’s been a long time coming. I would love any advice regarding my choice of parts.

Ryzen 5 7500x3d combo from Micro Center
(Includes Asrock B850m-c motherboard and single 16gb ddr5 ram)
Zotac Rtx 3080 10gb
Thermalright Aqua Elite 360 V3 aio
Lian li v100 mini case
Msi 750w psu
2tb ssd w/heatsink ( I bought the ssd from GameStop last year before price hikes for my ps5. Figured I’d just use that one instead of buying a new one for now. But I am considering buying a 512gb gen4 ssd to put in the system also.)
I know I need another stick of ram but prices are crazy! So I figured I’d stick with one for now and I’ll buy another a little later. And I’m concerned about the motherboard. Should I stick with it or should I just use it and upgrade it later?
