I’m on the hunt for weird wacky cool or unique short term accomodation in NZ. I’ve tried every search. I’m planning a trip to the SI West Coast so bonus points for that area but also happy for this thread to be the home of all the unique places to stay because I’m always on the hunt. I’m a magpie for colour / craft / nature / eco / SPAS OR BATHS / camping / art / animals/ history / anything weird.

I know there’s a cool eco train in Pōneke / Wellington somewhere but otherwise I’m bone blank idealess so please help!
