Will be traveling throughout the Mediterranean in September. Do Esims work on the ships or once youre away from shore you have only the ship wifi as an option? The Esim will work in each of the places we are going jaut wondering about the ship.

Hello, my wife and I will be cruising out of civitavecchia on September 1st. We will be arriving in Rome the morning of August 30th. We are staying near Vatican City and plan on going there on the 31st (Monday) early. On the 30th, Sunday we haven't planned anything yet. We are estimating to be in Rome around 930-10am after getting through Airport and plan on traveling to the city by train.

Are the major spots like the Colosseum, forum, and a few museum sights doable in that one day? I know most of thoae places need timed tickets and that can be tricky because its all based on arrival time in that first day.

Any other tips or things to be aware of when in Rome? I understand pickpocketing and street scammers are a problem and to keep vigilant about them.

Hello, so my wife and I will be doing a 8 day cruise in the eastern Mediterranean starting from Rome/civitavecchia. We will be staying in Rome 2 days prior to boarding. I was curious where at the port is the actual princess boarding or terminal. I looked on Google maps and its a big place and a good walk from the train station. Im trying to eliminate surprises so are timing is good.
