For anyone who recieved tickets/fines

After hearing of some of the overbearing efforts of law enforcement, I thought I would share some things. For clarity, I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

Stage II fire restrictions can be found [here](https://www.chaffeecounty.org/departments/sheriff/fire\_restrictions.php), it clearly states that smoking inside enclosed vehicles is permitted under stage 2 restrictions.

[The state of Colorado not only does not have a law against public intoxication, it aslo prohibits counties and municipalities from enacting such laws](https://colorado.public.law/statutes/crs\_27-81-117?utm\_source=chatgpt.com)

I'm not saying that I know for certain that some of the fines issued by Chaffee County Sheriffs were wrongful or invalid citations, but it wouldn't be the first time something like that ever happened.

God Bless the Police

Big shout out to the sheriffs at FOV keeping everyone safe from wildfires. Some people claimed it was just a cash grab and pointed to the fact that gas grills were permitted and the general store sold lighters. But, we all know that the most likely place a wildfire will start is from a roach on the ground in a crowd of 10,000 people, not a gass grill precariously balanced on an Igloo cooler, operated by a drunk guy at 2am.

Inspection schedules

Im staying at a hotel downstate NY and one of the exterior doors had a handle that stuck. Then after a few days, it just locked up and didn't work, and it was impossible to get out of. I let the front desk know and it stayed like that for days. Then, they removed it altogether and it remained without any lock for several days. I suspect this was a known issue before it fully broke. Are there inspection schedules to look at exterior doors and other safety items to make sure there arent issues? Shouldn't that be done daily, or at least weekly?
