Shop Optimization

Shop Optimization

Hello managers.

I've played this game for a bit and I guess I am starting to worry about store optimization now?

I've noticed that my restockers are not restocking at the pace where I am comfortable at.

Thus I was wondering how do you guys deal with the following items

1. Shelf type optimization

If you compare putting salt vs Beer Barrel, I feel like optimally you only need half shelves for salt, and 2 full rows of beer barrels.

Does the size of the item affect whether you choose to down shrink shelves?

2. Floor optimization

Do you guys duplicate shelve rows for less space constrained items?

For example, yeah chicken, potato, toilet papers can probably occupy 2 shelves rows.

But what about things like say rice?

3. Storage

How many boxes of the same item do you keep in storage?

For me, at minimum I would have 2 labeled space for the item.

So basically at minimum Tissue Papers would have x2 rack space, any extra would be one of the unlabeled areas

4. Distance: Storage to Shelf

I am thinking whether I should think about whether I should reorder my shop and also the storage to reduce the need to travel. Like right now I only grow my shop lengthwise so that my employees don't need to run too far

I want to try a new gun class, specifically submachine gun, any recommendations?

Title says all.

Though generally my gun choices are pepper rifle or G36. I usually single fire them.

I refuse to use submachine gun, and maybe the best I would do is P90.

But that was the old me before I 100%ed the game.

New me says I should at least give it a shot

(I mean, I did shoot all of the smg in the range before making this post but really none of them appealed to me, like it still doesn't feel like it's something I will seriously consider using it in game. So I would like to hear what do you recommend before I maybe play all the maps again on standard using that smg)
