Country music terms
I enjoy country music, but I have noticed an overriding theme...
To make a hit song, it seems to me you have to have (1) a catchy tune, and (2) include at least 3 to 4 of the following terms in the lyrics:
- Boots
- Horse
- Saddle
- Truck
- Tractor
- Drinkin'
- Beer
- Bar/honky tonk
- Redneck
- "Ya'll"
- The word "Country"
- Front porch
- God/Lord/Jesus
- Texas
- Tennessee
What else am I missing?
