After seeing how insanely strong Jinoh was in the recent chapter, i don't believe that he actually died in a car accident. My theory is that after the accident, he didn't actually die, it was just his body on earth that died, but his soul went to another world, one filled with dangerous monster's and on the brink on destruction. Being as kind as a "Buddha" as he is, he takes on the role of a Hero, fighting monster's, killingg the demon king, and eventually reaching godhood. Then when he tried to return to earth to reunite with Dowan, he couldn't do it due to two reasons. The first reason was cause of some Dimensional Barrier which he couldn't cross, and the other being that his presence has became too strong that Earth won't be able to handle it and would get destroyed the moment he steps foot in it. Jinoh, remembering that Dowan loved game's creates an avatar so that he could meet Dowan even in the game, thus giving form to the Destroyer. But when Dowan died cause of playing game's for week's, Jinoh tried to bring him back to life but couldn't do it cause reviving someone from death was a law which even he couldn't bypass. He then came up with a solution, the solution being regression. He regressed Dowan and giving him the system so that he'll grow stronger and fight against the people of the bully association.
Here's my second theory.
What if Destroyer isn't actually helping Dowan out of kindness? What if there's a deeper reason behind it? The reason being a cosmic game that he's playing. What if there's another cosmic entity besides the Destroyer, and they're playing a game, the game to see whose chosen champion comes out on top. In this scenario, Dowan is Destroyer's chosen one, while Minyul is the champion of the other cosmic entity. The problem is that Destroyer knew that Jinoh will never let Dowan to be used in such a game and fight against the Bully association. So, Destroyer had to personally intervene. Destroyer secretly sealed Jinoh's soul in another dimension after the accident and made it appear as though he had died. By sealing Jinoh away, Destroyer gave Dowan a pretty solid reason to become stronger, seek revenge and unknowingly taking part in the cosmic game.
Annnnnnddd if you've read till here. congrats, you've just wasted your time reading something useless. It was just a random thought that came to my mind randomly.
The first picture is from "Contract Enrollment"
Even though I knew Ed’s plan from the novel, seeing Lortelle’s composure utterly shatter was heartbreaking. She trusts Ed implicitly. She knows he would never betray her. Yet, the brutal reality of the situation completely bypasses her logic.Watching someone so fiercely independent and guarded become that vulnerable is devastating.
I never really noticed it before, but she’s actually really cute. I guess I never paid her much attention since she always gets pushed to the side and barely gets any spotlight, mainly cause she's not one of Ed’s main heroines or anything, so she’s always just… there in the background.
But now that I’m actually looking at her properly, it’s kind of impossible to ignore it.
Just caught up with the recent chapter after letting it marinate, and God damn it was a good decision!
