Items-related changes:

  • Added new attributes isPlateSlot and isPatronSlot. isPatronSlot is related to the presence of a round in the chamber. isPlateSlot is related to the presence of a space for the plates.

>I think they just separate attributes of modifications for weapon from plates for armor. Looks like fixing the problem with visual replacing of build-up plates in some armors.

Customization-related changes:

  • Added new voice for Expansion Hub Usec_09_Tony
  • Added URLs for every item in the Expansion Hub.

>FYI: they added URLs for every customization for hideout and menu, gestures and clothes. Aren't they gonna sell Orange paint for walls, CyberTark menu and OK sign for TarCoins?

Settings-related changes:

  • Added new attributes KeepAliveStaticInterval and set it to 1

Hello there!

12 hours have passed since the post appeared on tarkov-changes.com, so I decided to check out what changes were made in the Icebreaker patch:

Item changes:

  1. Analgin painkillers no longer affect hydration.
  2. All Wedge ammo appears to be brand‑new and fully lootable from him.
  3. New streamer items:
    • SheefGG piggybank — 4×4 capacity, holds GP coins, whole and cut bitcoins, TarCoin, size 2×2.
    • DesmondPilak CD and Dunduk floppy disk — valuables, no interactions.
  4. A new stat "FaceCoverMask" has been added. It’s set to "None" for all headwear except GP-5, GP-7, and Avon M53A1. (I think this is a visual indicator, like the slit in Killa’s mask.)
  5. Increased raid money drop limits:
    • Rubles: 100000 instead of 40000.
    • Dollars: 1000 instead of 0.
    • Euros: 1000 instead of 0.
  6. RAM is now blue instead of purple.
  7. Removed the ergonomics penalty for non-ballistic glasses; improved it for ballistic ones.
  8. In raid stacks of GP coin now contain 8–22 coins instead of 1–2.
  9. Something was changed with the quest item Strelets’ note — not sure what exactly.
  10. A large block where they added new streamer items to the trophy list.
  11. Added the ability to place the SZ-1 explosive charge in a special slot. Fun fact: TUE owners can place "Multitools" in special slots 1 and 2, and only "Leatherman Multitool" in slot 3. No such data is available for other editions.
  12. A block about banning quest items from the Icebreaker from being placed in pouches.
  13. A block about adding new modules for availability in new weapons.
  14. A block about adding new streamer items to the streamer container.
  15. A block about adding the ability to hang a new poster in the shelter.

Customization changes:

  1. Added new outfits and made sure they’re unlocked for TUE — nice touch!

Global changes:

  1. Added a mini‑game involving entering a four‑digit password.
  2. Added a new gas effect with two variants:
    • Weak: Duration 3 seconds, damage every 0 seconds, no coughing, −10 ergonomics penalty, −2 stamina penalty, 0 chest damage, doesn’t cancel healing or interactions, blocked by GP-5, GP-7, Avon M53A1.
    • Strong: Duration 3 seconds, damage every 1 second, cough every 3 seconds, −25 ergonomics penalty, −5 stamina penalty, 2 chest damage, cancels healing and interactions, blocked by GP-5, GP-7, Avon M53A1, Respirator, Gentex Ops-Core SOTR respirator.
  3. Obdolbos now has a 33% chance per effect (including death).
  4. Changed the Throwing skill: +0,1 speed per level.
  5. Changed Scav loot distribution based on Fence loyalty level (was 2–8–12–17–20–30, now 5–12–19–25–35–50). Not sure what these numbers mean.
  6. 26x75mm flare cartridge (Acid Green) can no longer be taken into raids.

Trader changes:

  1. Added a new trader: Scientist.
    • Available only in raids, doesn’t sell or buy anything. Likely just an NPC with the Trader class.
  2. All traders had their RAM barters removed.
  3. All traders can now buy Radar station spare parts, which were previously removed from the game.

Location changes:

  1. Added the Icebreaker location. Interesting detail: you can access it via the menu, like Labs. Cost: 400000 rubles. Extraction: 2400 euros.
  2. The next block of changes is unclear for me without the full code.
  3. Restored Goons spawn in the following locations:
    • Customs: 30%
    • Woods: 25%
    • Lighthouse: 30%
    • Shoreline: 30%
  4. Increased Rogue spawn chance at Lighthouse to 80% and increased group sizes.
  5. Restored the Sanitar spawn at Norvinskiy Port.
  6. Increased the BotMaxPvE stat from 15 to 31 at Shoreline (not sure what this means — probably lowered when Rogues were running around).
  7. Changed Glukhar spawn rate to 75% at Reserve.
  8. Added a menu entry for Labyrinth similar to Labs. I think and hope we will be able to access it from the menu.

Text changes for Icebreaker:

  1. Added quest descriptions, item descriptions, and dialogues for Icebreaker.

Achievement changes:

  1. Added 4 new achievements related to Icebreaker.

Honestly, I kind a like this change reviewing I did today. Gonna wait for the next one.
