RAINY MARI DELTARUNE TOMORROW AHHHH!!!!!
Before you start: "OH THAT'S A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT! HE'S PRETENDING TO BE HIM!"
No. It's me. I lost my new account on my way to my new phone.
But that's not the reason I'm quitting.
You see, I'm a minor.
*gasp*
Yeah, shocking. Junior High just started for us and it is absolutely eating up my time, my sleep, and my sanity.
So instead of vanishing to the void, I'll atleast keep y'all peace of minds, and my own, too.
I'll leave it up to you, Nooby96. (no pressure)
One final theory.
The Bright Room. It's seems so simple, right? "It's just a mirrored version of White Space!" It isn't. It isn't just a fateswap White Space. It's a deep dive to Mari's psychology.
First of all:
The chessboard.
Chess is a game that requires, strategy, and two people.
Two people. Keep that in mind.
Remember that only Hikiko and Mari knows of Bright Room's existence? That nobody else can come in the Bright Room?
Then what is the point of neatly setting a chessboard, if nobody can't even play with her?
Is she waiting for someone?
Someone... important?
Denial. It represents her denial.
Second,
The potted plant.
(Refer to my previous theory.)
A potted plant is something you can never stop from growing.
No matter how hard you bottle it up, it will always grow, and grow;
Until it eventually sprouts.
You know what else can't be bottled up? Something that grows?
Anger. This object represents her anger. Her self hatred.
Or perhaps, directed at someone else?
Next, the grammaphone.
A grammaphone, something you can spin, something you can reverse, speed up.
In short:
Control.
Something she has lost.
Even though she's still pretending to have one;
With Headspace.
This represents her bargaining.
Last, but not the least.
The Teru Teru Bozo.
Japanese locals hang these for sunny weather.
It shows that even in her perfect headspace, where Sunny's alive, Mari doesn't try to repress it as much as Sunny does in OMORI.
A part of her still desperately cling onto him.
Ironically enough, the dolls mean two things in this context.
For sunny weather, for the rain to go away. Representing her sadness and grief.
And for Sunny.
This shows her desperate need for him, to the point of resorting to beliefs.
Somewhere in her mind, somewhere trapped in the walls;
Depression. Her looming depression.
And...
That is all for this week, and the next weeks, or years.
And... (In case I didn't see you.)
Good morning,
Good evening,
And goodnight.
(im sorry i speak like a clanker im an ao3 author)
