High school graduate here

So I didnt get in the university that I wanted I’m thinking I’ll take tesda/gap year instead or I’ll go to a different college far from home in my 1st year then transfer to my dream school in my 2nd year.im scaling the pro and cons here, I don’t know what it’s like at tesda,it’s also embarrassing for me since I’m an honor student it hurts my pride. But if I’ll transfer instead I’ll still have to take test and have high gpa it’s so much pressure.

1.)for the people who takes tesda and gap year in the Philippines what it was like?any advice
2.)what was college is like how to have high grades?
3.)how do people get scholarships?
