Hi everyone,
I’m a dual citizen of the United States and the Netherlands (born, residing in the US/Famia yu Korsow), and I’m interested in buying property in Curaçao. I’m hoping to eventually retire there.
I’d rather ask here than go through family connections on the island right now because I want to keep my plans private until I fully understand the process myself.
I’m hoping to learn:

•Whether Dutch citizenship gives any advantages
•If residency is required
•Taxes/legal requirements
•Financing options
•Any restrictions or common mistakes foreign buyers make
•Good areas for living or investment
