Are there any plans to fix the Imperial Caves on Star Wars Island and reset them?

Hey dev, I have a world with ID 92f6f4c47668444b9267fea215b5a687, created in September during the Lost Isles update. I cleared some Imperial caves before the Storm King update, and they had no issues or bugs.

However, when the Storm King update dropped in December 2024, my Star Wars island became much buggier. The Rebel village takes a long time to render, and many caves have broken geometry where some caves have collided, causing parts of Frost land Imperial caves to turn into grassland and vice versa.

The broken cave geometry also led to a large number of pops and chunks scattered all over hollow or void spaces. I’ve been reporting this issue since after the Storm King update in 2025, but the reply I’ve received is “We are looking into this and are working on a solution.”

With this year’s Star Wars update 2026, I was really excited, hoping it would finally fix the long-standing Imperial caves issue in older world so we could enjoy them again.

Sadly, there was no reset, and the issue wasn’t fixed

Though the update did bring great improvements to lightsabers and plenty of content. I still hope the dev can fix the Imperial caves in old worlds so we can enjoy them again, and now that lightsabers can break, having enemies respawn in Star Wars caves would give us even more to look forward to.

Is it worth exploiting the game when we can make better weapons ourselves?

I’ve seen a lot of posts about people having two or three chests full of mythic weapons by exploiting the game, but I still don’t get if it’s worth it. From what I can tell, we can craft weapons with better damage and durability, so what’s the point of hoarding mythic weapons in chests if most of them will never be used!

Journal Quest Reward Collection System

Hey Devs!

First off, I’m really enjoying the new journal quests and the content you’ve been adding — it feels fresh and fun. One thing I especially like is the idea of collecting rewards from the journal instead of them just popping straight into the inventory.

Right now, the way it works is that rewards go directly into the inventory as soon as a quest is done. The problem is, if the inventory is full, the rewards drop on the ground. Sometimes players don’t notice, forget to pick them up, or just lose track, and it feels bad to miss out on something we worked for.

It would be awesome if rewards stayed in the journal until we choose to claim them. That way, nothing gets lost, and players have more control. Another idea: if the inventory is full, maybe the NPC could pause and say something like “Make some space first!” before handing over the reward. That little interaction would save us from losing items and even add a bit of charm to the game.

Thanks for listening — I think this change would make the journal system even smoother and more enjoyable!

📜 Suggestion: Journal Quest Reward Collection System

Problem:

  • Currently, quest rewards are sent directly to the inventory once a quest is completed.
  • If the inventory is full, rewards drop on the ground.
  • Players often miss these drops or lose track of rewards, leading to frustration.

Proposed Solution:

  1. Manual Reward Collection:
    • Instead of auto-dropping rewards, completed quests should store rewards in the journal.
    • Players can claim them manually when ready, ensuring nothing is lost.
  2. NPC Interaction Safeguard:
    • If the inventory is full, NPCs should prompt players to clear space before handing over rewards.
    • This prevents accidental loss and adds a layer of immersion.

Description: The ICE and Scatter Dragon have an incorrect preview in the locker, showing a Fire Dragon trophy instead. Occasionally, they disappear from the locker but can still be accessed through the World Build menu.

When talking to Captain Flintlocke, he says the Things from Beneath might return with their belly full of airship parts—will you be ready? This probably means that when he comes back in another event, we can get both the trophy and the zeppelin.

I was just landing the vehicle at starwar island, and my Star Wars village taking a long time to load it's problem since the Storm King update. Then suddenly, it rendered me in a completely different corner of the map. When I exited the world and got back into the vehicle, the tires I had added as shock absorbers vanished—it was floating with no tires. I tried entering again, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Seriously, a lot of weird things have been happening since the last update!

New Changes : The PORGS replaced by chicken in starwars islands

In-game Dev Notes : The PORGS reign! Having ravaged the peaceful crags of Ahch-To, merciless legions of Porgs have been deployed to Odyssey ... Players who travel to Star Wars Island will discover that Chickens have been replaced by everyone's favorite pettable, puffed-up space avians: Porgs! They lay Fervent Eggs like Chickens, they drop Feathers like Chickens, and as any Wookiee knows ... they even taste a bit like Chicken. And try as we might, we just can't get rid of them! The Porgs are here to stay.

Summary: Enemies bushes are continuously spawning inside the Ninjago village area when the character moves out of rendering distance. These bushes often contain hidden mobs, including Elemental Masters and normal Elemental Ninjas, which damage structures.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enter the Ninjago village area.
  2. Move your character away until the village is outside the rendering distance.
  3. Return to the Ninjago village area.
  4. Observe newly spawned mob bushes inside the Ninjago village.

Frequency: Occurs consistently when leaving and re-entering rendering distance.

Can’t wait to see what they have planned for the Star Wars update—finally, Odyssey is getting a Star Wars update on May 14, so patch notes says. LEGO Fortnite Odyssey gets its own Star Wars update on May 14 with the new Hover Brick, hover vehicles, Mando and Grogu, and Star Wars enemies. In today’s update, they added the Porg bird to the game. I don’t think we’ll be able to see them in survival/expert/Cozy until the 14th, but we can still access them in the sandbox world.

The devs added a new thread on coming update!

They get stuck, which usually happens when a character moves from low ground to high ground ( I.e out of village render distances) . I guess the game’s rendering priority is animals before it even renders buildings or foundations.

Just got off the bus and found this on Star Wars Island. It was only a temporary ,.. revisit fix the issue, but rendering bugs are pretty common when using the bus stations.
