"Why did they do this?"

"Why did they do this?"

People seemed genuinely confused and I responded- apparently this was the Incorrect Move. Resetting "Days Since Last Social Blunder" counter to zero.

But at least someone explained to me why I came across poorly? Even if they were condescending about it? Better than no explanation lmao 😎👉👉

Stop Withdrawing Over Text? Help!

Due to overwhelm and OCD related doubts, I have a hard time connecting socially long term. Autism, ADHD, and (in remission ✨) cPTSD doesn't help.

I get overwhelmed, then I have a hard time reaching back out to people after I've cut myself off due to said overwhelm

, and have a hard time trying to make new friends or message people back online because I know I will repeat this pattern. Texting is unnecessarily difficult for me 😖 (part of it is also not knowing how long the conversation is going to be + switching back and forth between texting and other tasks- part of that is definitely my other diagnoses, but I haven't attacked this through an OCD lens yet)

Anyone have any tips? I tried my best to keep it brief to adhere to Rule 1, but I can provide more detail if need be.

Thank you!!!
