Looking for feedback on an English vocabulary-learning app

I’ve been building LangBlitz, an Android app designed to help English learners build and retain vocabulary through flashcards, repeated exposure, and word mastery.

I’d love to get feedback from actual English learners, especially on what feels useful, what doesn’t, and what could be improved.

I also have free subscription promo codes to anyone interested in trying it out. No review or positive feedback expected. I’m genuinely looking for honest opinions.

If this is okay with the mods and the community, I’d be happy to share more details here.

Details in comment.

I’m testing the positioning of my vocabulary app - would love some ASO feedback

I'm the developer of LangBlitz, an English vocabulary learning app focused on helping people actually retain words rather than just memorize them temporarily.

I’m currently experimenting with Play Store positioning and would really appreciate some honest ASO feedback from people who know this space.

The current positioning is around vocabulary learning + spaced repetition + active recall.

I also have a few free promo codes available for anyone who wants to try the app and give me feedback on the onboarding, store listing, or overall value proposition.

I’m not looking for ratings or reviews. Honest criticism would be much more useful to me.

If anyone is interested in trying it, I’ll drop the app link and the promo code in the comments.

P.S. I couldn't find the option to add flair to the post

📖 Word of the Day: Obnubilate

(verb)

To make something unclear, confusing, or difficult to understand.

>

💡 Did you know?
Obnubilate comes from the Latin obnubilare, meaning “to cover with clouds.” It can be used literally for something obscured, but is more commonly used figuratively for thoughts, facts, or explanations that become clouded.

💬 Challenge: Can you use obnubilate in a sentence, or think of something that tends to obnubilate your thinking? ☁️🧠

LangBlitz Product Hunt Launch

I just launched LangBlitz on Product Hunt.

I built it around a problem I’ve had for years: I can recognize plenty of words when I read them, but when I actually want to use them, they somehow disappear.

LangBlitz is a vocabulary practice app built around short examples, repetition, and quick practice. The goal is to make learning new words feel like something you can fit into a few minutes a day, rather than another long study session.

If you enjoy learning words, I’d love for you to check it out and tell me what you think.

Honest feedback will be highly valuable to me. 🙂

Quiddity

(noun)

The essential nature or distinctive quality of something; what makes a thing what it is.

Quiddity comes from the Medieval Latin quidditas, from quid meaning “what.” Philosophers used it to describe the fundamental “whatness” of a thing.

💬 Challenge: Can you use quiddity in a sentence, or name something whose essential quality is difficult to put into words? 🧠📚
