🧐

quick question for my ibew sub techs, if you’re on a P&C crew working inside a control house terminating , would those hours spent doing P&C also count for a state electrical license or no? Don’t strike me down for asking , just curious.

thank you guys for your time !

Help needed

hello all, so 2 months ago today exactly I took my interview for local 1002 to be a sub tech and still haven’t heard anything back… was just wondering if there might be a few guys from 1002 who have an inside scoop , or if anyone knows about how long it should take before I hear back for a call? im currently an inside wireman for another local and about to hit my second year mark and have to pay 700 for books on July 9th, and im trying to avoid paying 700 for something im only gonna use for a few months. if anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. thanks for your time guys!

just curious

hey guys so today marks a month since I did my Interview with swlcat for sub tech apprentice of out of 1002, still haven’t heard anything yet and just had a couple of questions for you folks if anyone has some answers.

  1. if I don’t catch a call with an in state contractor , would swlcat send me outside of my home state to one of the 6 others that the region covers?

  2. about how long does it take to hear back after an interview in your personal experience (there were only 7 guys on ranking list after me and the other guy interviewed us making the 6th and 7th guys to interview)

  3. does anyone work in 1002 and know if any contractors are about to put out calls for apprentices any time soon?

  4. is there anyway to find out what ranking you are? swlcat says no you can’t but when I got into the inside wireman apprenticeship 2 years ago they told me where I ranked at.

thanks for your time ladies and gents!
