No more Nashville show

Super duper bummed!!! Circumstances beyond the band's control, it's said. My guess would be low ticket sales... which I was very afraid of with a nearly 11th hour announcement in a market that's already very light for the relevant genres.

I did at least make it to Little Rock, but among other petty gripes and mostly self-inflicted wounds, my foot was freshly smashed... soooo, I had hoped for a proper good time with a round 2. I can't suddenly drop two shifts to travel to Columbus, though I certainly wish it could be so.

Looking for the "joke"

A post Mvtant made on Facebook, about supporting an upcoming tour, caught my eye for extremely obvious reasons...

A fellow redditor remarked about the "blatant ripoff" in play. Whether ripoff or homage, I'm not qualified to comment on, as I have no awareness of this act. An account representing Das Bunker "clarified" that "it's a joke;" when pressed for an explanation, they helpfully responded "ask them."

I suppose their efforts to promote the group are only so sincere, or that the act of contemplation is an affront to their capacity as an individual.

Perhaps one of you more familiar with SH can clarify. Personally, this is as much lifting as I care to do.

Do you need a Nashville +1?

I'll probably just waste time and embarrass myself with this one, but I'll give it a go anyway.

I have been homeless for some months, with a massive storm of slights barring me from a meaningful rebound. I'm too "AuDHD" to figure this life post-dogshit-relationship out. I finally scraped up almost $1500 to reclaim my storage at the 11th hour, only for my car's hybrid battery to die during my shift the other day. This has, obviously, led to many more problems than the many problems I already had.

So, to be concerned about this show is a hilarious game of inexplicable priority mismanagement. Story of my life.

But, I've been a KMFDM superfan for some decades and I am fond of my Timmy Tim Tim Skold by association. I've seen him several times, even shook hands and had a brief chat, but I've never had the chance to see him with Manson.

I'm an oddball. I'm not outwardly "goth" or even stylish. Jeans and a t-shirt, every time. I have two pairs of pants, like a cartoon character; Smells Like Work and Smells Like Poots. I largely keep to myself and have only leaned harder into say-nothing behavior over some decades of only having more bad news to share. I am not immediately "fun" in a conventional sense. I just try to be respectful and kind to the best I'm able.

It's something like 3 hours to showtime so I can't afford to overcontemplate this post more than I already have. Just gonna kick it out there and whatever happens, happens. I'm hanging out just off exit 67 in Franklin. I realize I'm an easy target for mockery - please spare me if you're willing, the massive hole I dug for myself over the years already has me isolated and miserable.
