Magnesium

Why do some people say magnesium stopped their vertigo? Could they have been deficient? My magnesium seems to be within the normal range but am wondering if starting it might help because the neurologist recommended it too.

I’ve tried it different times though and even glycinate in drinks causes a lot of GI issues for me. Is there anything that helps you that doesn’t cause so much stomach upset?

I had an iron infusion at 32 weeks pregnant when my ferritin was 4, low vitamin B12, low iron saturation, and serum iron. Everything has stayed in the 100’s for the last 6 months- ish. I just had labs done in March and iron panel was still high, I even thought I might have too much iron (I’ve been having strange symptoms since my infusion for all of these months). After a month, my iron dropped in half.

My ferritin is still good and a month ago, my inflammation markers were all good. I did get my blood taken, last week during a tooth infection and my period. I was also taking amoxicillin. Can that bring down iron saturation and serum iron only? It seems to be a pretty significant drop because my numbers have stayed steady other than that for months, not budging or dropping. The hematologist said everything looked normal with my labs until I pointed this out and now they want to see me back in 2 months. Should I be worried? My IDA was so bad when I was pregnant, I couldn’t talk without taking breaths in between. I’m just worried because numbers are dipping and I thought they would be good. The sudden dip just scares me. Ferritin still good though. It seems like serum iron can vary day to day, but it’s always been in the 100’s until now. Idk know about iron saturation. Has anyone experienced this?
