Active go clubs in Barcelona or Rome?

Hi! I'll be in Barcelona and then Rome these next two weeks and, depending on schedule, was hoping to be able to find time to meet some local go players. I found clubs in both cities on the baduk club map, but not sure how up to date the information is. Does anyone have any recent knowledge on go meetups in either city?

Thank you!

Don't understand this AI-recommended sequence

I was going over a game of mine and this fairly normal corner sequence played out in the top right, but I don't really study a lot of joseki so I was hoping someone more knowledgeable could help me understand the underlying concept here.

the recommended move for me to play is 1 in the first diagram, the knight's move out into the middle, but when I looked into the followups, the AI wants me to basically allow that stone to get cut off, as in the second diagram.

what's the point here? am I exchanging an outside stone and some aji in the wall for semi-sente life? the recommendations for black after the second image all seem to be tenuki, and then white has a fairly large followup on the top side. or if black plays on top then it seems white settles the corner in sente.
