Has anyone here actually had decent success using Shift Choice?

Or is it pretty-much a crapshoot for everyone?? Starting to wonder, "Wtf's the point?", esp. since I got rejected, recently, for a 3rd time in a row (though I could've sworn I was a lot more-thorough and -careful that time when making my selections)! :(

So, apparently... my current sort center is gonna start implementing MyPerformance on A to Z (lol)? While I'm not too worried for my own career- given that I typically do my best to be safe and diligent- I don't know why they would think this remotely "makes sense" in the Amazon sites where they (management), from what I can tell, typically let Associates get away with, perhaps, the most bullshit of all (especially for the sake of speed and 'getting things out the door fast')? Like, unless they're planning to start "aggressively enforcing" (especially via write-ups) various rules on the books suddenly (which they've, in theory, "given a shit about", esp. at Startups, but rarely discuss otherwise w/ anyone, let alone hold anyone shitty accountable)- esp. with regard to rate and/or safety- I don't know how they think this is remotely "gonna work well" at sort centers?

especially on shifts like CartB (which is a shitshow in a lot of ways, thanks to so many fellow Associates mindlessly moving carts around like "robots", impatiently "tossing" them in trailers, so many "forgetting" to strap cart rows, etc.). Like, unless they've come up with a "great plan" to *more-aggressively enforce* the various rules, at such sites, to hold shittier Associates accountable en masse while, also, somehow getting product out the door fairly-quickly and meeting volume demands, I'm not sure how they plan to "make this work"?

Or is this more for the 'sort side' part of sort centers that, say, scan packages to carts/pallets (along with, perhaps, Wrap Down at DDU sites)? especially in terms of rate ("exempting", technically, the Inbound Cross-Dock shifts, perhaps?, at least rate-wise, since that's all-but-impossible to ask much of, given how much time it takes, sometimes, to fully-strap a row, esp. if they're stuck in the basket and shit; or some carts 'bouncing around' as you try to maneuver them in the trailer)?

Are the upper-management folks in charge of implementing and deciding stuff like this really "so out of touch" that they, perhaps, "are completely unaware" of the utter "free-for-alls" that sort centers, often, 'are'? That they honestly think this'll "go down well" and somehow be "easy to enforce", given that, from what I can tell, so few sort centers- esp. for stuff like Wrap Down and IXD- rarely actually-enforce the rules and make sure folks are being safe and responsible (and then try to overcompensate by putting more pressure, sometimes, on the more-diligent of us)? ...they can't be *That ignorant* of the 'shitshow'.. right??
