Possible tiger musky?
Caught this off a dock on a lake in the Lake Minnetonka area of Minnesota and can’t figure out if it’s a Northern Pike or a Tiger Muskie. It’s got that classic elongated esox body and duck-bill mouth with sharp teeth, but we’re stumped on the markings — they look like lighter spots on a darker green background, which makes me lean toward Northern Pike, but the pattern had us second guessing. Tiger muskies are usually stocked so I know they’re less common, but wanted to get some expert opinions. Anyone able to ID this with confidence?
