Got in!

It’s been sort of a long process but definitely not as long as I see for some people so I’m grateful for how soon I got in. Started the process about a year ago at local 20 while I was completing some college in the area and got waitlisted. Moved back to okc and started work at 1141 as a cw and came back to texas to reinterview with having some experience in the trade. Was pretty nervous in my interview, more so than the first time round, but ended up getting in! Ready to start work and school!

Ibew 20

Is there anyone here who interviewed at local 20 on Monday? Still waiting for my results, last time I interviewed I got the letter the next morning, just wondering what the wait time is looking like.

Local 20 reinterview

I have my reinterview with Local 20 this Monday. I’ve put in about 700 hours of CW experience since my last interview and have a great letter of recommendation from my foreman, so I’m feeling pretty confident about getting in this time. I really enjoy the work and want to get the best education possible to become a great electrician, so I'm just hoping it all goes well.

Is there anyone in Local 20 who might know how many more apprentices are being pulled for this semester?

Any other locals put cws in the teledata side? I have interviewed at both local 20 and 1141. Was waitlisted in Dallas but ranked 14 with a score of 92 in okc. I started work as a cw here thinking I’d do electrical work but have been on teledata for a while now just cause electrical work is so slow up here. I know atleast for the contractor I’m with there’s a lot of cws placed in teledata. Have enough hours to reinterview, probably going to reinterview in Dallas first.
