Edit: sharing mine since I asked the question. I made mine into a fake “GRWM day in the life as a twenty one pilots fan” used it as an absurd way to show off the TOP clothes and collection of items I have that are inspired by the band. My ceramic cheetah vase played the part of Jason my incompetent coworker 😂

Wanted to share my experience at Osheaga yesterday!

Had an absolute blast, even solo! I flew up just for the day to go to the festival solo. My friends have different music taste than I do so I don’t mind going on my own.

Bought the VIP Platinum ticket which felt worth it even though the “extras” like brunch and backstage tour were completely overstated in what they actually were.

Got to the grounds around 4pm. Went to the first platinum landing area, had a drink and some nachos and watched Wet Leg. Started to mist and drizzle after that but came prepared with a poncho so walked down to the gold casino terrace which is where I ended up staying the rest of the show.

Was super civilized, not overly crowded at any point. No foul odors on a hot humid evening lol. Eventually picked my spot and slowly but surely got talking to the other TOP fans around me. Kudos to the folks who were seeing there 30th+ shows! I salute your dedication.

Major thanks to the woman who gave me a bracelet. I chose one that said Breach, and I love it.

Show was incredible as expected. My first time seeing Center Mass and Drag Path live so they definitely stood out. Tyler came deep into the crowd during Ride and he ended up on a stand right next to the platinum section which blew my mind. He was so close!

Overall, 14/10 way to spend the day. Got to see some other amazing bands like The Neighborhood and The XX who absolutely slayed.

I always come home from a TOP show feeling genuinely fulfilled and smiling re-watching all my videos. They really do be helping us not only Stay Alive but enjoy being alive!

Constantly impressed, shocked, and jealous by them always jumping around like it ain’t no thang on stage and never getting out of breath.

Maybe I can gift them Garmin watches at one of their shows this summer 🤪 jk…sort of

When Oasis did their Live’25 tour last year I remember they cancelled a massive number of tickets that were purchased by scalpers and bots and mandated that they could only be resold at face value on Ticketmaster.

Could TØP do the same?

Listened to Vessel through Breach straight through no skips and I still wasn’t home so then I just sat in silence

Between the Ticketmaster queue on presale day, the general sale, the ridiculous resale prices, the constantly Ticketmaster reminders that “I can still get tix” but then click to see it’s still sold out, and now seeing they’re trying to buy back tix at a higher price…I almost don’t even want to go anymore.

I’m very confident I can afford a scalper ticket if I want to but idk it just seems a bit wild at this point.

I already booked airfare and hotel so idk I’m going to let it simmer over the summer and maybe I’ll change my mind…

Anyone feeling similarly deflated over this whole experience?

I’m sure these Spotify 20th Anniversary playlists that just came out today will get a lot of discussion like the Spotify Wrapped doses.

Of course TOP is my all time most played artist and my all time played song is Chlorine. I’ve played chlorine 2x more than my next most listened to song, Jumpsuit…the trench era really had a chokehold on my AirPods.

Just wanted to say yet again, how grateful I am for Chlorine. I will never ever get sick of it. It means so much and even teared up this evening listening to it after all these years

What was everyone else’s results?

Wondering if ACL will be the last festival that gets announced for the band this year or if there are others ones that we think they may show up to into the fall?

Any theories?

Might be alone in this one…let’s keep it kind it’s just a theory / opinion…

As a fan I would absolutely love the band to keep telling the story and building the world they’ve built AND I am on the edge of my seat for APE in August bc I do think something is coming whether it’s a third album or that Clancy doesn’t actually become a bishop…

But there would also be a part of me that might be disappointed if they were like psych! He defeated the bishops and lived happily ever after.

I think the power of their message is that we keep going and we continue to improve and that is a lifelong journey without perfection and judgement. If Clancy comes back and is like hey jk I defeated my demons it might feel a little bit like achieving perfection and I just don’t think that’s the point of their message all along.

I’m not saying they should be trapped in their messaging and I’m not advocating for being stuck in your struggles forever either. I just think that it overcoming a struggle in reality doesn’t really mean perfection. It means you’ve changed in someway, moved forward, learned something, etc and I just hope whatever is next keeps that in mind.

Progress, defeating our struggles, does not equal perfection.
