Anyone living in The Station (East Rd, part of Carriageworks construction) – how bad is the noise from the East Rd freight rails and constructions?
Does anyone live in The Station House / Carriageworks near East Road, or in the vicinity of the train rails near East Rd going into the Dublin Port? I’m considering renting there. How noticeable are the freight trains on the Dublin Port line, especially overnight? How often do the go? Are they loud enough to disturb at high floor (7)? what about East Rd itself during the night?
