What do you think about the antagonist of the next game in the Fatal Frame series?

This is my first post here, and I would like to discuss the antagonists of the series, in each part we have about the same formula and I like these characters, they are tragic, interesting, frightening. But I don't think I can call any of them a bad or terrible person for their actions, so what if the next antagonist of the series is made pure evil? Yes, I know that this goes beyond the traditional formula and may be out of step with previous games in the series. But imagine how interesting it will be to look at the real villain, not a victim of circumstances, not a victim of family, or anything else, but a person who just wants others to suffer, will enjoy the pain of the new protagonist. Yes, you can add a reason for this, but I think it would be interesting to make a truly insane, ruthless villain. What do you think?

Her Private Hell my review

So Refn decided to please us with another job, I went to it because I really hoped for pleasant references To my favorite genre. But in the end I got an empty, pretentious, not particularly beautiful thing. I was already familiar with the author's works and roughly understood what I would get, but I did not think that everything would be so bad. The beginning could really be interesting, but then the film crumbles from Its own action. Everything is incredibly predictable, and you're just waiting for the movie to end. Some scenes caused outright laughter (especially the barking scene), but not because of the fun, but the feeling of wanting to smash your forehead. I'm not in favor of criticizing the graphics, but here in some places, it's just disgusting. The actors, especially Sophie, did a very bad job, the only performance I liked was from Charles. I want to praise the soundtrack, but I don't understand the point of repeating the same track so many times, no it's a good track, it's definitely going to be on my playlist, but God. References to the gialli genre, oh they are made only to be, and no more, they don't make sense on their own. The shooting, some camera angles, and a couple of camera moments weren't bad, but that doesn't save the movie. A very disappointing movie

I think this movie is not as bad as people say it is!

It was recently released online, and I watched it and honestly, I really liked it! It's very atmospheric, stylish, good acting, good murders, good music! The film is definitely inspired by the genre, it has a lot of references and meta comments about the genre. It's very fresh, and the twist is gorgeous! You know, just as I liked Scream at the time because of his clever comments about the genre, there's a lot here about one of My favorite genres. So I definitely recommend watching it!

What do you think about such wilts about giallo genre?

I keep my tiktok account because I keep track of my niece, and some of my friends keep it too. Recently, some people (I will not disclose their accounts), They added me to the chat and wrote this about the genre, because they saw that I was a fan of it. What do you guys think about this?

I'm pretty sure that these three are related to each other, in theory.

It would be funny if they pulled off a trick like with King K. Roole in Bananza. And I'm the only one who finds the similarity between Mr. Dark's designs and new villain funny. And I fucking loved the trailer, some of the designs are a little weird, but otherwise it's great.

What kind of weapon is this?

The Phenomena is one of my favorite Dario movies, and I've always wondered what kind of killer weapon is in this movie? What is it?

Am I the only one who knows that this game is finally on steam now? It's quite interesting.

The game is heavily inspired by the ClockTower and Giallo, I think no one should miss it.

Giallo-inspired games and references to this genre in games

What games did you play that had the spirit of those movies, or references? What kind of games would you call a giallo? Would you like to see a game made entirely in this genre?
