Accepted an offer but the job title was downgraded. Now they re-posted the original role on LinkedIn. What is going on?

I recently interviewed for a Sr engineering role at a fast-growing defense tech company and got an offer. I was so thrilled that I signed the paperwork immediately to lock it in. After the adrenaline wore off, I reviewed the document again and noticed they dropped the "Sr" from the title and it looks like a lower hierarchy level.

The catch: The compensation is exactly what we discussed for the Senior band, so I am perfectly happy with the money.

I reached out to the recruiter to ask if it was a typo, but it has been a few days with no response.

To add to my paranoia, I just saw the exact same "Senior" job description re-posted on LinkedIn a week after I signed my offer.

Is this just a common HR oversight (using an old boilerplate template) combined with multiple open headcount for the same role? Or did they intentionally downgrade me to mid-level so they could keep hunting for a "true" Senior?

Since I already signed, what is the best way to navigate this and get my internal title corrected before my start date without souring the relationship? Any insights from folks who have navigated this?
