Alfa Laval P626 – PT4 Oil Back Pressure Drops to 0 Bar After 2–3 Hours

When starting the purifier from standstill, it follows the entire start-up sequence without any issues. Manual discharges also work normally, with PT4 remaining steady at around 1.9–2.0 bar.

However, after about 2–3 hours of continuous operation, PT4 suddenly drops to 0 bar, indicating that the bowl starts leaking/opening.

Upon opening the bowl hood, I found an oil and water mixture around the shaft, so I renewed the shaft O-rings as well as the distributor O-rings.

I also inspected the operating/ discharge slide side:
> Teflon plugs are almost new.
> Nozzle is clear.
> All other O-rings and rectangular ring in the discharge slide appear to be in good condition.

Despite all of the above, the problem still persists.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue before? Any suggestions or areas I should inspect next would be greatly appreciated.
