I am a starting photographer who shot photos for a couple for their backyard wedding. I don't think the photos turned out well at all. Thankfully, they didn't pay me (I didn't accept any money, even when they offered), but I'm not sure if I should send them any photos out of embarrassment.
I bought a Canon Rebel T7 for my job last year. I was working in marketing and social media and taking photos daily. I really enjoyed what I was doing and decided to start up again during this summer, in between college semesters. Recently, I had a couple reach out to me to ask if I could take photos for their "wedding". I figured that if I wanted to gain more experience, I could take it on. The only issue is that the photos came out awful... I used the lenses included in the kit, and they made every photo grainy and blurry. I have no idea what to do. The couple told me that they wanted to use these photos for their post-wedding celebration, but I am too embarrassed to send anything. What are you supposed to do in this situation?
