I'd forgotten the details of this, so thought I'd share. Quite interesting seeing how E reacted when confronted.

Executive functioning refers to the brain's ability to manage simple and complex tasks, remember information, pay attention to timing and remain focused, something that both autism and ADHD tend to impair. I'm aware individual experiences differ, but E has described being unable to plan and carry out tasks in the past. (They have also said that if they have to do something, they won't.)

Bear in mind there are a number of circumstances which can make this harder, yet E has managed to:

1. Plan a menu and shopping list under pressure and at allegedly short notice.

2. Get up and get ready by a certain time for the most part

3. Go shopping *at a different supermarket to normal with a different layout, while being filmed and carrying out a conversation*

4. Make a 3 course meal under pressure *in a kitchen they have never cooked in before, while being filmed and carrying out a conversation, with everything ready in good time*

5. Attend 4 dinner parties with numerous lives in between, constantly being filmed with no clear signs of burnout or overwhelm.

I could never, ever contemplate any of this, yet E pulled it off without a problem, even when the other guests were struggling. Very interesting, to say the least.

Bunch of enablers, the lot of them.

Elphaba was sacked from Luna the musical for not turning up to rehearsals. Their performance was also incredibly poor (look it up on Tiktok) and the American accent was...quite something. The sheer arrogance is breathtaking.

Considering E has had to move fairly suddenly to a new area, they appear remarkably calm. I only mention this because as someone who is awaiting an autism assessment, any change in routine stresses me out so badly. And moving house is more than just a change in routine- the routine gets decimated. It's also impressive that E has been able to get straight out there to scope the local area- it would take me so long to build up the courage due to anxiety.

It just seemed strange in the light of their recent diagnosis. I consider myself to be pretty well regulated but moving house is one of the worst upheavals ever, let alone for someone with autism. I don't think it's the fact E has done it so many times either...thoughts?

E just said they might have one drink today but they "probably won't do the other thing". Turning into Sobriety Jack at this point. Why does sunshine have to equate to substance misuse. Eugh.

Sick of the posts saying the diagnosis is fake. People are desperate for it to be fake so they are using any bizarre and spurious reason to claim it is.

Yes, E has lied countless times but it's clear this is a third rate assessment written by a company that uses American terms, and that they lied through their teeth. No diagnostic tests were mentioned, everything E told them has been taken at face value, and that's crap but it's a money-saving, time-saving exercise by the NHS.

Even the awareness pages I rate have jumped on the temu detective bandwagon. Yes, question things, but don't become so focused on a belief that you ignore all other evidence. I'd expect it of Stormii and Misty but not some of the others.
