Career Portal - What's Happening & What We Can Do? [Important Discussion]

As y'all know, Rajputs as a community do not have any united organisation, let alone a career portal where community members can help each other out in terms of career, business, jobs & finances.

Why do we need it though?

Because our methods, functioning, and mindset are still centuries behind - we did not adapt to the new changes after Independence, and thus we as a community are on the verge of extinction. Our culture & heritage is going to be diluted and claimed by others, thus killing our unique identity and pushing us into a communal identity crisis.

On the other hand, communities like Baniyas, Jains, Brahmins, etc. have adapted to the new system and are thriving today (which is a very good thing, hats off to their communities), while on the other hand, we are just fighting to keep our unique identity alive from being diluted and appropriated by others, let alone talk of financial success. We know for a fact that Rajputs don't stand out in financial terms. Even politically, we are becoming irrelevant day by day - politicians just use us and then throw us under the bus.

Let me share some real-life incidents I've seen happen:

One of my distant friends is a model. He comes from one of the pastoral communities (cannot name it here); he was using the surname Khatri, while his actual surname was actually very different. I asked him why he used that surname, and he told me it significantly increases the chances of success in this industry and that it's a common practice. His friends in the industry did the same and had an extra edge (they agree too). The big guys there are very 'community-conscious'.

Recently, I saw a video of the Jain community in which they announced 60 crores worth of investment in education to produce 100 IAS officers by 2030 (a very great way to ensure power and not get thrown away by the system - many Rajputs report mistreatment by IAS officers of rival communities; we face this problem on a large scale). And the Jain people really love gated communities - now they've taken their community & career portals digital as well. They really look out for each other when it comes to business. They help each other - you know, by giving jobs and businesses to other Jains only.

I'm not saying anything against these communities - whatever y'all are doing, keep doing it. It's not a crime to give priority to your own community. Lots of love to you guys. I just want to let my people know how you dominate and stay relevant in the current system - not by violence, but by whatever this is.

Now Coming to the point:

I was thinking that we could now start a small career portal for our community, but I need your responses, recommendations, opinions & roadmap - whatever's in your minds - in the comment section. We are being very serious here, so please be very serious too. Make the comment section a serious discussion forum and let your opinions and heart out...We gotta hear different ideas, and then make a portal so it actually works out...

The united we stand, the stronger we become!

Legend of Hav. Chhatar Singh Inda (Shaurya Chakra), 21 Rajputana Rifles: A Hero in Uniform...

Under Operation Rakshak, the battalion was deployed on internal security duties in the Srinagar, Anantnag, Sonamarg, and Ganderbal sectors. During this tenure, the battalion demonstrated exceptional operational efficiency and professionalism by recovering a large cache of arms and ammunition.

On 8 December 1990, the battalion was deployed to the Jalandhar sector of Punjab, where it played an effective role in counter-terrorist operations in the Intiya Mahanta and Naushera Panwan areas. It later operated in the Tarn Taran sector, working alongside the civil administration in patrols, area domination, ambushes, and surveillance operations, making a significant contribution to restoring law and order.

On 4 June 1992, multiple ambushes were laid near Mahama village in Majitha district. In this operation, Havildar Chhatar Singh was assigned as the scout of the ambush party.

At approximately 10:05 p.m., a scooter approached the ambush site. Suddenly, three terrorists dismounted and opened heavy fire on the ambush party with automatic weapons.

Displaying exceptional presence of mind and courage, Havildar Chhatar Singh accurately engaged and wounded the nearest terrorist, who had taken up a firing position. Despite being injured, the terrorist continued firing. At this critical moment, showing complete disregard for his own safety, Havildar Chhatar Singh displayed indomitable courage, unwavering determination, and exemplary devotion to duty, killing two terrorists on the spot.

For displaying conspicuous gallantry, exceptional courage, and outstanding bravery during Operation Second, Havildar Chhatar Singh was awarded the Shaurya Chakra on 26 January 1994. The gallantry award was presented to him on 13 April 1994 by the President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma.

Authentic Early 18th-century Sword of a Rajput Cavalry Warrior stationed in Tarai (Kumaon). Notice 2 distinct holes in hilt used to loop a lanyard knot, fastened around Warrior's wrist. Clever military design, preventing it from being dropped during high speed equestrian combat...

Groundwork ki toh bat hi nahi karenge. They don't even know basic facts about Rajput identity or history, it becomes a clown circus when someone invites them to some podcast or when they give out speeches - knowledge usually taken from Whatsapp forwards.... We definitely deserve better! 💔

Rani Durgavati: Born a Princess. Remembered as a Kshatrani

Imagine it’s the 1500s and you are a Kshatriya.

With Kshatriya blood comes responsibility.

Not comfort, privilege, not an easy life, it comes with an oath. An oath to protect, oath to defend, oath to uphold dharma, and an oath to lay down your life without any hesitation if the moment demands it

When it comes to stories of valour from our Kshatranis, we have heard so many names, one name is often overlooked and that is the one who completely embodied the above-mentioned ideals.

Rani Durgavati, born in the Chandel Dynasty was raised in a tradition where courage ran through the blood effortlessly and duty was non-negotiable. As a Rajput Princess, she learnt to hunt, ride, and mastered weapons. Above all else, she learnt what it meant to carry the weight of the heritage that she was born into.

She was married to the King of Gondwana Dalpat Shah who tragically passed away in 1550 CE, leaving behind the Crown Prince who was merely 5 years old. Rani Durgavati was left to rule a kingdom and raise a young heir worthy of the crown. Many might have turned to alliances or submissions, but not here, she chose responsibility.

Gondwana prospered under her stewardship, she is known to maintain stability and harmony in the kingdom.

Then came the year 1564, Asaf Khan chose to march against Gondwana with the backings of the Mughal Empire. In terms of numbers and support, the enemy was far superior and Rani Durgavati was faced with a choice that every Kshatriya in history had faced at some point: Safety or Duty.

She chose duty, donned her armour and mounted her horse. She led her army into the battle. Like a true Kshatriya she refused to leave the battlefield even after suffering severe wounds.

When the possibility of her capture became obvious, she made the choice that has echoed for generations.

She chose death over dishonour. Not because she sought martyrdom but because she believed in a Kshatrani’s freedom and honour. The Dharma she was upholding was far more valuable than her life in her own eyes.

Her story is not just of bravery.

It is a reminder for all of us that the Rajput ideal was never just about power alone.

It was about duty being carried to its ultimate conclusion no matter the cost. These ideals were forged in sacrifice, in duty, and in the willingness to stand firmly even when surrender looked easier.

Almost 5 centuries have passed since she fell on the battlefield, still her legacy endures.

Not because she commanded an army or ruled a kingdom. It endures because when history demanded a choice between life and honour she chose the latter.

When a party sees even its own supporters as a threat to its power, this is the result. Beware. Stop being driven and divided by political parties. Stop blindly following any party's ideology. Stay vigilant and vocal for your community's interests - not a foot soldier for any party or ideology...

Debunking the propaganda that Rani Karnavati of Mewar sent a rakhi to Humayun seeking help....

[NOT OC]

Context:

After the loss of Rajputana Confederacy at the battle of Khanwa in 1527, the kingdom of mewar became very weak and after the assassination of Rana Sanga next year, the power was completely lost.

Seeing this, Gujarat sultanate, which was defeated many times by Rana Sanga, became ambitious and went on an expansion spree. He conquered malwa, portions of mewar and his eye was set on chittor next.

The Rakhi or rakshabandhan story is that Bahadur Shah, the king of Gujarat, was about to attack Chittor and Rani Karnavati, the wife of late Rana Sanga, sent a rakhi to Humayun, who was at that time campaigning in Bengal against Afghans. Seeing the rakhi, Humayun left the campaign for his sister Karnavati and marched towards chittor.

Now another 2 version exists here presently:

  1. Humayun reached in time, kicked out Bahadur Shah and installed her son, Vikramaditya on the throne and Mewar was saved (This story is present in media)

  2. Humayun couldn't reach chittor in time and he failed to save Karnavati and she committed Jauhar(Todd version)

2nd version is written in the book, 'Annals and antiquities of Rajasthan' by James Todd. His works on rajputs are very popular, but it should be noted that he used oral stories, folklore, legends and other mythical story as a source in his books, as historical facts. His works are criticized by many. He has even used story books like Prithviraj Raso, for his work.

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/need-to-analyse-writings-of-british-officer-tod-on-rajputana/articleshow/62589747.cms

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James\_Tod#References

You can read above about his mistakes.

So, this rakhi episode(1st image, source: https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.15905/page /n283/mode/2up?q=rakhi&view=theater) was made popular by James Todd.

Accomplished historians like Satish Chandra in his book 'History of Medieval India' has written that no such contemporary source exists about Karnavati sending Rakhi. See: 2nd image, source-

https://archive.org/details/satishchandrahistoryofmedievalindia/page/n222/mode/1up?q=Karnavati+

In fact, as per Satish Chandra, Bahadur Shah left Chittor after capturing it and returned the fort to Rajputs in exchange of some money, due to fear of Humayun intervening, as during this battle in chittor, Humayun was encamped at Gwalior. This rules out that Humayun defeated Bahadur Shah and installed Vikramaditya, the son of Karnavati as the king of Mewar.

Let's see why he was encamped at Gwalior:

As per Humayun-nama written by the sister of Humayun, he went to Gwalior for a military demonstration against Bahadur Shah of Gujarat. There is no mention of any rakhi or any letter by Karnavati to Humayun in Humayunama. (3rd image, source: https://archive.org/details/historyofhumayun00gulbrich/page/114/mode/2up?q=gujrat )

Humayun wanted to attack Gujarat because after Rana Sanga, Afghans in East and Bahadur Shah in Northwest were growing rapidly and it was threat to the infant stage Mughal empire.

In Humayunama it is also written that, after just letting 2 months pass at Gwalior, Humayun returned to Agra.

Let's check another source of a Persian writer who has written: 'History of the Rise of the Mahomedan Power in India' or Tarikh-i-Farishta by Qasim Firishta (1560-1620).

Here we see a mention of prince Vikramaditya, the son of Rani Karnavati, asking for help from Humayin against Bahadur Shah. In the book it is written mistakenly, Rana Sanga but in the bottom the mistake has been rectified. (4th image. Source: https://archive.org/details/history-of-the-rise-of-the-mahomedan-power-in-india-vol.-1/History%20Of%20The%20Rise%20Of%20The%20Mahomedan%20Power%20In%20India%2C%20Vol.%202/page/74/mode/2up?q=bahadur )

On the next page of this book, we seen a letter exchange between Bahadur Shah and Humayun where it is seen that Humayun is addressing Bahadur Shah as ravager of chittor who had subdued infidels and in a warning tone says that while he was busy at chittor, Humayun himself was advancing to challenge him.

This shows that even though Vikramaditya wrote a letter for help, Humayun was in no mood to help him.

Next Bahadur Shah replies that he win at chittor and Humayun didn't come to help chittor from falling, and now he himself will defeat Humayun in battle.

It seems clear as per all the contemporary sources, no rakhi was sent by Karnavati to Humayun.

Only frishita mentions that Vikramaditya sent a letter to Humayun for help, which was very common. We have seen Sher Shah Suri calling Gajpati Parmar for help, humayun calling for help of Maldeo Rathore or Aurangzeb writing letter to Mewar for sending troops for the mughal war of succession

Book named, 'Humayun Badshah' by SK Banerjee also tells us about this rakhi story being true(6th image) but again later he has given the reference to this fact from Todd (7th image). Source : https://archive.org/details/humayunbadshah035068mbp/page/n137/mode/2up?q=todd

He used Todd as a reference.

Conclusion:

  1. No rakhi was sent by Karnavati and Humayun didn't leave his Bengal campaign in midway to help his sister in defeating Bahadur Shah and installing her son as a king.

  2. Origin of rakhi isn't from this Humayun-Karnavati story.

  3. Humayunama has no mention of any Rakhi or letter from Karnavati.

  4. A letter was probably sent by her son, Vikramaditya to seek help, which is very common and Humayun didn't help him either as per firishta.

Beware of a specific lobby trying to break our unity. One such guy claiming he got banned for "regional" reasons was actually banned for Muslim Rajput posts. We have mods & members from every region here in our team - stay away from such lobbies based on regions, We as a community have faced enough!

PIC 1 - First guy claiming he was banned for regional reasons - Which he was not (Proofs attached ahead). The second guy claims he was banned for posting Purbiya Rajput history 'last year'. For anyone who don't know, majority of the Mod Team last year was Purbiya. The most senior Mod in our team currently is also a Purbiya Rajput (Now you know the real reason why he was banned). Btw, we still have great posts on Purbiya Rajput history always coming in our sub. All these are bs allegations.

In the pics ahead you can see his views on fellow Hindus & 'Devis', he also seem very active in a Muslim Rajput sub. He might probably be a Pakistani or a "Muslim" Rajput planted to create a regional divide. We request everyone that even if theres a slightest of misunderstanding, confront it, don't keep personal grudges and don't limit our Rajput identity into regions. We as a community have already faced enough in history for not being united. We can't afford the same now. The condition is worse today, we gotta stay united. Someone can have misunderstanding from another individual on the sub, we sort it out & not take the issue out of the community - be it whatsoever. This community belongs to every Rajput irrespective of region - Period!

Stay United, Jai Ma Bhawani 🙏
