Does anyone know how strict they are with ADN clinical days? If I have something pre planned for 6 months away, could I make up the clinical ahead of time?

Need some input on our current situation. Head coach of the travel ball team has a mindset that he controls everything. There are other coaches but the head coach and his wife make all of the decisions for the team down to schedules and who gets added/dropped from the roster etc. Please let me know if other teams are like this, or if this seems to just be a control issue. In my mind, all coaches would discuss everything and come to an agreement on what’s best for the team. Am I right or wrong?

Got roped into coaching an all star team that will have kids from all over the state for one tournament, I won’t know any of the kids, and it is a 3 day tournament. Please send all the tips and tricks for managing kids I have never seen play. Specifically how to navigate playing them in their selected positions without knowing their skill. Thanks in advance!
