Hi everyone! First off, I want to say that I’m not trying to be a doomsayer. Quite the opposite! I consider myself a pretty positive person within this fandom.

I just want to spark some discussion, as I’ve seen people, both in the Arcane and LOL fandom, commenting that Riot would handle Timebomb very differently compared to Meljay or Caitvi because Jinx is currently the face of the company. The argument is that they’d want to keep her single and celibate to appease the general public, specifically those who view her as too unstable for a relationship or those who ship her with other champions (or even with themselves).

Honestly, I’d be a bit surprised if Riot didn’t want to take the plunge with Ekko and Jinx, given the character development she received in Arcane.

In any case, I don't know much about how a company like Riot usually handles these kinds of situations, which is why I wanted to ask for your opinions (especially from those of you who are more knowledgeable about the company and the game).

I also considered posting this on the r/Arcane or r/loreofleague, but I have to admit I’m a little intimidated by the idea of ​​posting there about this.

We've talked on this subreddit about our headcanons and how we'd like Riot to continue their story and in what formats.

But now my question is, what do you think is going to happen?

The only thing we know (or at least what I've heard) is that Christian Linke is interested in continuing their stories, Fortiche seems to still be quite attached to them, and that new projects are already in development (although we don't know what they'll be about or when they'll be released).

- Do you think there's a chance they'll develop their relationship from a romantic perspective?

- How do you think it will happen?

- Will it be in a new series, movie, cinematic, etc.?

- Will there be moments of intimacy, a hug, a kiss, a sex scene, etc.?

- And above all, when do you think it will happen?

Now, my theory. I'm hopeful it will happen, even though we're currently in a dry spell. So many people involved in the development of Arcane have shown interest in this couple and given us so many hints that, if they truly couldn't or didn't want to continue with them, they wouldn't.

It will probably happen in an Arcane spin-off project, either a movie or a series, where Ekko's character has a slightly more prominent role while Jinx's has a more secondary one. That said, as we've seen with Arcane, they would first have to go through a lot of individual development before their relationship could progress, which I also hope will happen. And I bet we'll see another fight (this time in the form of an argument or confrontation), a hug, and even a kiss (because they've already dared to do it in the alternate universe).

Now, based on what I've seen in Arcane, I THINK they're going to have a tragic or bittersweet ending. They'll be shown together, but they won't end up together. I repeat, it's not what I want to happen, but what I believe will happen.
