The Episode When They Found Al’s DNA At a Site

That was Season 5. Al was under investigation for covering up for Voight when Voight killed Bingham for killing his son. Al’s DNA was at the scene. Al was asking Voights help with the lawyer fee and Voight said all the money went towards a trust fund for his grandson.

Mean to tell me that Voight couldn’t try to help with the lawyer fee when Al took the fall and was even killed in prison.

Burgess in Chicago PD

My Opinion, next to Al, Burgess is my favorite character on PD. Her character was groomed from day one to be the Bad Ass Detective in Intelligence she is today. Started doing patrol and moved up in law enforcement. She is resilient as hell. Shot on two occasions; miscarried; went through a trial on the accusation that she did a bad shoot; saved herself and partner Roman when they were held hostage by thugs in a warehouse and was acknowledged for it by her captain, including Trudy and the officers under her and her team in Intelligence. Through it all she got back in the game. If anyone can do Trauma, it’s Kim Burgess. She’s made for the part. Shes a Detective; wife and mother. Not easy to juggle all three.

Does Anyone Think Voight Should See His Grandson Again?

The episode when Olive moved out the house with his grandson was sad. Voight begged her to stay as he reached for his grandson. I get Olive wanted to end all ties with Voight, but the storyline should be where Voight has ties with the grandson who would be about 10 or so.
