I am quite new to ROS2. I was wondering is there any reason one would write a node in C++ rather than Python and vice versa? Or is it just preference?
What are the pros-and-cons for each?

Is it worth learning vcpkg? I use Linux, arch specifically but I think that package managers only download native builds.

If it's not worth learning vcpkg then what better alternative is there?
