Enrolment Conflict Maths + Comp Sci
Hi guys, I’m going into first year for computing science. I’m trying to enrol right now, and I’ve selected all my comp sci classes for first year. But for some reason every time I try to enrol for Mathematics 1 (recommended for comp sci and also just a course I really want to take) it says there’s a time conflict between its lecture and Computing Science 1F’s lecture. This confuses me because surely the two should be compatible?
It’s not made easier by the fact that there are 613 (SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN) bloody options for Mathematics 1, apparently because there’s an individual option for every combination of lab and tutorial. So I don’t know, maybe one of these 613 options wouldn’t pose a conflict? But I’m not about to check all of them…
And regardless, the conflict is between the lectures, which don’t change for any of the options as far as I can see.
Can anybody help me enrol in both courses??
Edit: oh yeah, and every single option for Mathematics 1 purports to only have 23 seats left with 23 reserved. Which I would assume means there’s no spaces left, except the system has no problems with me adding it to my options?? I don’t understanddd
