This is the first episode of their 5 part series covering Synanon, a drug rehabilitation program that led directly to the rise of the troubled teen industry. It's some dark stuff, so be warned.

When Kat is behind the wall saying that she can see Clark through glass but he can't see her because it's just a wall... That mirrors Mary's memories of her house with the window covered in newspapers. The newspapers block out the window. Something that you should be able to look through is suddenly a wall keeping everything out.

Is that the complex already being aware of Mary even though she hasn't entered it yet?
