Pupistorian28 bleated: I knew human history was gonna be bloody, but by the Elders I wasn't ready.

I'm a Farsul historian who helped some human refugees to settle on VP. When I pressed about their history they always stayed quiet, citing legal consequences from the UN should they "spill the beans" (love that saying so silly)

Following the recent lifting of the UN's Emergency Order 56 I decided to finally get my paws on humanity's history...

Now I understand why that order was put in place.

Heres a video I stumbled upon that left me shaken with the sheer... Predatory Savagery, and I know humans don't like that word but It's the only one that really fits this one.

Warning, if you have a weak stomach I'd advise to sit this one out.

To summarize, it's about ancient earth history that took place almost a thousand earth years ago. It tells how an ancient great power called the "Mongol Empire" conquered a city called "Baghdad" Back then humans had no advanced tech, just wood and metal pointy weapons and their main mode of transport was riding on the backs of "horses", a four legged prey species that the humans turned into their cattle.

When I asked the humans I knew what they thought about it, they simply said that "those were different times, when the strong ruled and the weak perished" and that "they're glad humanity has moved beyond that".

Strangely I think I feel closer to humans now after learning about their history. Before they felt like saints compared to the Federation and the Gray's atrocities. Now I know we're truly not that different.
