Quick jaunt round Tynedale
Don’t think anyone was hurt in the last one. Many blue lights. Very quiet walk otherwise!

Scottish Borders. 8°C over night. Slight breeze to keep the midges down. Lush.
Knoydart, wet day 1, reasonable day 2, oppressively hot day 3.
Over packed, took my time. Planned on basing at the campsite and day packing up Ladhar Bheinn but that was rammed and looked noisy. Pushed on and camped in the crags above Loch an Dubh-Lochain.
Leisurely wander along Aonach Sgoilte on day two. Took one look at the scramble when I arrived, noped back to the bealach and pitched up. No chance I’m doing that scramble with a full heavy pack, on my own.
Slow morning day 3, back along the ridge and time for a pint before the boat.
