I was kind of waiting to see if I had misread the event listing for this month, or if maybe they hadn’t been complete. But no, seems like they couldn’t bother to include a Soaring Might quest chain in any of the weeks… for those not remembering, it’s where you get rewarded for a hero having been promoted. And given that this season focuses on Peech (and chaos, sort of), and that one of the rewards this week is a Kayla skin, it seems odd that they haven’t included that chain… maybe for Kayla this week and Peech next week. There‘s certainly room on the board in the overarching event, “Spark of Glory.” Last month they had this chain for both Tristan and Guus, as well as Crow. So it’s not like there wasn’t precedent. Anyone else disappointed?

I never made it past level 10 this time and that includes the round where I had 150 orbs (3 strikes) to play with. What’s your worst for the 3 day event…??? In all seriousness, I never failed to eventually clear the orbs from the Lucky Strike chain…🤦‍♀️

Seems like in the past, the PTB dropped occasional/random rewards by putting them in missions. Obviously, we still have the daily mission which people are so kind as to post. Thanks, by the way, to whoever is on Facebook or wherever and shares. But Nexters gave mission reward codes when they switched to a new event, trailers, or other things and now it looks like they are no longer redeemable in-game but require a detour to the website. So, they still provide them just with a different mechanism. Just wondering what people thought of this? I’m undecided. Also, I might be wrong on this, but I think at least once during past months … probably when they ended the “part 1” event and switched to “part 2,” … they included adventure energy in the reward. pretty sure they didn’t do that this month…

I’m disappointed in the lack of adventure energy the last two events. There’s about 150+ altogether in this event over 4 days… so, assuming you’re at the end of the adventure, even with the 1/hr, that’s not enough to do L35 once a day. The first time I actually managed to finish one of these was the Kendle event, and by the time I finished THAT event not quite a week ahead of time, I was still able to do L35 maybe 8 times. So, while I left some adventure energy on the board in the first couple of events this month (sorry, my titans can’t do 300/day), I can say with a degree of certainty, that the redo of the event calendar … leaving out Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 of the adventure reward chains… made it worse for players who weren’t willing or able to expend a higher than average amount of resources and/or emeralds.

EDIT I should say that when I didn’t finish the event in the past, it wasn’t due to lack of energy, it was due to not being able to get past one of the challenge levels. I just didn’t level a team enough to get past some of them, and I’d hit a wall where I would die no matter what team I put up. So, I’d continue to get energy and finish the month with a ton of unspent energy…

I’m on the fence on the Guus Twilight skin… I have ample coins to get it during the event, although I wouldn’t upgrade it to the +. As far as I’m concerned, + skins are a nice bonus from the heroic chest and that’s it. I already got the Angel skin from the event, so that’s an upgrade over what I had, and I have enough skin certificates from Outland chests to get the harvest skin which boosts the physical attack. Arguably both those skins would boost Guus and have a higher priority than the garden varietyTwilight skin.

Two other points... first, if I don’t get the skin, I’d get some equipment. I’m promoting in the gold range and high purple, so while I have no idea if any of that equipment is a “bargain” in this event, it would save me farming. I’d probably get a couple of archangel’s wrath and add entry level gold items. And second, does anyone know if they will be adding skins to the Outland chests regularly? It feels like they haven’t the last month or so, and that‘s where I would expect the Twilight skin to show up first… or perhaps in a Hero’s Fortune if they continue that with their new format (I feel like it’s foolish to count on anything with all the changes they’re making).

As far as Guus goes, he’s not on whatever passes for my ”first” team, but healers are always in demand and between the grand arena and the guild wars where they switch off factions, I use him very regularly…
