Hi guys - my espresso machine can only make 2 shots at a time and there are rushes where the line is out the door simply because of this.
Would it be psycho to pull some shots to then keep in the reach in, for the sole purpose of using for iced drinks during these rushes?
I don’t have any coffee snobs, but I also don’t want to sacrifice quality for speed.
He’s now my size, though, so I gotta keep an eye on my collection…

Is the shoe lace meant to be an “emergency lace” in case I break one?
I’ve been using a scooter to commute for a few years in the urban suburbia of Phoenix. I’ve been hit three times, all three by cars turning right.
Aside from the serious one that got me surgery and insurance settlements, the other two left their vehicles with more damage than my body.
But I don’t like it. So I’ve yelled at them and told them to open their eyes and then I took off fuming.
Should I be calling the cops? Asking them how they could possibly have not seen me? What were they thinking? Should I shake them down so they can avoid their insurance going up? Punch them in the face? Hug them and tell them Jesus loves them (it’s Phoenix, Jesus is a dishwasher who works with me)?
Edit: I am a defensive rider. I was hit from behind this morning as they turned into me - never saw the car. Looking for serious answers. Take your lecturing elsewhere
FINAL EDIT: This was a mostly worthless endeavor. To those who actually gave me some tips on WHAT TO DO IF I GET HIT BY A CAR, thank you. To the rest of you who just straight up ignored the one and only question I asked and felt like you should lecture me instead because somehow you know exactly what my commuting habits are, you may politely fuck off. Learn to read.

I am going to need to hire one or two new employees towards the end of the summer. Apparently we have never had a training program in place, so I am tasked with creating one. What's the best way? Would training two people at once be a bad move? And how many days? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone - I oversee a small coffee shop at a private medical college and we serve the coffee of a local roastery. We are coming up on one year from when we started using their product and I would like to have a one-year anniversary event to celebrate, this coming August.
Can anyone offer good ideas for celebrating this kind of event? I come from a background of running bars, so my experience doesn't really fit with this.
