I keep trying to forgive the sidemen. I'm done with them.

They are no longer genuine. It seems they have sold out ever since KSI left (which I thought was for the better intially). But they have been shilling for Google Gemini and incorporating it into every video idea. As a long time fan, I was devastated. KSI's departure gave me hyperventilations at first, and then i accepted his departure was needed. Now the AI in every video besides thumbnails are making me look crazy for raving about them to my class. I made a whole presentation years ago in high school about the sidemen during my junior year. Now almost 10 years later, I'm scared my classmates would think I'm crazy for being a fan of a "fake" group with no ideas.

The last 25 mins of the new among us vid

Peanut ruined it, it became a drag. Please stop inviting him. His humor is horrible and he is bad at playing. Guys like Jack who obviously aren't great players aren't jarring because he meshes well with the group and doesn't try hard. I'm american and I never heard of this guy till the sidemen.

If Filly gets acquitted, will the sidemen re-upload his vids with them?

Will they make new collabs and host a redemption arc series? I hope not

bad look for tobi and (formerly jj)

Just an FYI: there is no determined percentage for passing

The approximate is 60%: this means this could range from 58 percent to 62 percent raw correct. This would depend on the form; I've seen NBME practice scores with 58% raw but a 60 EPC. Heck, a 60 may not be a pass in some testing scenarios. This is why it is safer to consistently be above 65.

The trend in the pass rate for USMD is currently worrisome (97% to 89 %). This is due to schools not emphasizing the true amount of prep needed for this test. My school shortened dedicated, many people dropped rotations, and still haven't taken the test. We're now testing to pass...look at the previous scored test-takers; they were aiming for the 250s, and many would get 230s. If you're aiming for 196, what do you expect to happen?

Please study to understand the material and master most of it, rather than study to pass. This is not to scare you, the majority of people will score their average. Just make sure your average is well above the range of passing.

As someone who passed earlier this month, the NBMEs are not *really* representative of the test format...more like a part 2 to CARS (MCAT)

The title should say that the real deal is pretty much a medical CARS exam

Did I find the exam difficult? Not really... (I'd say about a 6/10). Most of the answers I flagged ended up being correct after checking at home. However, I did find the exam vague. I still felt somewhat unsure about most of the non-discrete questions (which make up the majority of the exam). The test is really assessing reading comprehension and your ability to parse information from vague passages. I think the highest-yield thing to do is learn how to diagnose from a set of values (kind of similar to real life) and trust your gut. I felt this same vagueness with the recent NBMEs, but there's an added dimension on the real exam, because the passages are longer and less explicit about what they're asking.

If you know your stuff (not just rote-memorizing facts), you'll most likely pass. Sadly, it isn't a 100% guarantee, as there are things outside of a test-taker's control.

The Free 120 was definitely easier. Although it was more representative of the exam format, the questions were less higher-order.

I also have a question for ESL test-takers. Did you find the format more difficult than NBMEs? I think this is something worth considering, especially for those who had high NBME scores, but still failed.

Test day issue & score release

I made a test day issue report and got acknowledged by usmle 1 day after I made the report. They said my score would be on hold and they'll notify me when the investigation is complete. But I just got the email about my score release for May without any follow-up email regarding the investigation. What does this mean?

They have ability to make great content but he doesn't want to film, and when they do he puts no effort.

KSI who is bigger than every other uk youtuber still put effort in the medium that made him who he is, despite being a billionaire. Sidemens video today was the best thing ive seen in ages across USA and UK youtube. Pure laughs and effort. Why cant they do the same?

If a beta squad vid isn't a mukbang, it's a Guess the ___ where they have a celebrity. Celebs only attract for that vid only, not the next one. Sidemen are bigger than most of their guests and they use their platform to elevate them. I was really rooting for beta squad, but it seems like it is time to let the boys go and watch them individually. What a journey.
