Been trying to get this one for a while as it’s in a part of town with almost constant foot and road traffic.

This is a former air raid shelter and then latterly a public convenience. But out of use for at least 40 years. Built underneath the castle gardens.

One from my regular Sunday morning perambulation around town. This is right at the top of Dogpole, and not one I’ve noticed before.

Another offering from Shrewsbury. This is listed on an old OS map as a shop, one of a pair that once operated on St Mary’s Water Lane.

At the top of St Marys Waterlane. This is believed to be an entrance to the old tunnels network that runs through this part of town.
