Parent passed away with unpaid taxes

When i was cleaning out my parents' home I found several letters from the IRS stating that they owed back taxes from several years ago.

I'm not sure if my dad filed and didn't pay, filed late and didn't pay, or... his paperwork was a hot mess.

Over time it looks like that the interest on the amount has increased by a huge amount.

Mom has alzheimer's and isn't able to help, but i do have poa.

How do I go about taking care of this?

What questions do i ask? Recently diagnosed

I just got my test results back through the patient portal and it's positive for SIBO. The only note was that an antibiotic was called in for me.

I called the Dr's office today and received a note through the portal that they saw i had seen my results what did I need.

Um... to understand what this is? And are antibiotics all i need? Do i need diet changes?

I'm also dealing with an autoimmune disorder, but my rheumatologist hasn't given me a definitive diagnosis, so I'm wanting to know if this could be connected? Or would it be treated differently knowing that?

Is there anything else I need to know? I'm feeling quite frustrated with the lack of direct communication.

Decorating a kids' bathroom

We have a dated bathroom that our kids use. I'd love ideas to make it kid friendly without being a theme because the 1boy and 2 girls range in age from 4 to 12 and would never agree, haha!

Brown floor, white and harvest gold tile on the walls and the patterned tile on the tub surround, harvest gold tub/sink and "marbled" harvest gold/cream counter.

I can paint the top 1/4 of the walls and the door & window frame but that's it. Can't change the tile. Can absolutely get new shower curtain and towels!
