Help me fill out the lore - What can you deduce from this fantasy map, and from looking at it, what would you like to know about this world?
Ask me anything about the map, the world, the geopolitics and history surrounding it! Hopefully I can answer most questions with a substantial answer, and those that I can't expose the gaps that I need to fill.
For context, I drew the original map years ago when I was a kid, and only now have I come back to it and digitised it. I have spent a while crafting the lore surrounding the world, but have kept the map intentionally minimalist. Ideally it would be a parchment style map, but the various kingdoms have been highlighted here for your benefit.
The less detailed areas on the edges of the map are designed that way to show a lack of exploration and knowledge by the civil interior regions, so are intentionally left minimalist. The north and west are mostly wild and untamed, offering immense danger to any would be settlers for little reward, and as such are known as the wild lands. The empty south is dominated by great stretching deserts and large isolationist southern kingdoms that act essentially as a barrier to the south for the main stories area
