Any sock recommendations for my foot in the boot? Looking for something loose fitting and breathable in the boot. Tried on my normal socks and they were too snug and cut off too much circulation.
A week and half into my tear and will be in a NWB boot for 6 weeks. Any exercise or movement that folks suggest? Currently have been just on the couch because swelling/discomfort, but I can tell the swelling is starting to reduce and I’m feeling a little better. I will maintain the NWB, but anybody have any non-leg weight exercise or movement they’ve done to not feel like a total vegetable?
Hello All - Tore my achilles June 17. Met with my podiatrist June 22 and the plan is to go the non-op route. I’m going to be in a boot (aircast) non-weight bearing until August 6 (~6-7 weeks non-weight bearing). Then I can begin some limited walking and rehab.
Just came across this sub and seen some amazing stories, some heartache as well.
Any advice is welcomed! My biggest struggle now is keeping my sweaty leg from getting the boot wet. I’m currently not using a sock for fear that it will hurt to take on and off.
