So, what are your favorite strains for outdoors?

I’ve pretty much been sticking with the older, somewhat traditional strains; Jack Herer, granddaddy purple, afghan kush, Durban poison, etc.

I have loved the results, but as I’m worried about the transfer of seeds in the US possibly getting sketchy in November, I want to get a few more modern genetics from good seed banks.

When I go to those sites, I get fixated on the snowy white plants covered in thick trichomes, detailing the delicious terps and then I think…how perfect do conditions need to be to achieve these results? How likely is it that these super sticky buds are going to act like flypaper? Yada yada…

So, I’m looking for your top picks. Things that you’ve grown and have first hand knowledge about. Ones that are your absolute favorites for growing outdoors.

Thanks, and happy growing!

Since we’re doing weekend dumbness during the week now

The only reason to invest in GameStop is because you believe in the leadership. The leadership is the reason that this company will succeed or fail, it’s the reason that there have been several mini squeezes over the past 5 years. They’re the reason the price doesn’t go further down. And they’ll be the reason that the price eventually goes up.

If I didn’t believe in the vision of the leadership, I would vote with my wallet, and sell. I would then buy into something that I felt more comfortable with. There are plenty of stocks or funds that will make you some money. The market is doing some crazy ish right now.

Now, if I’m keeping a portion of my money parked here, then I believe in the vision of the leadership, even if I don’t know specifically what that vision is. I believe that they are doing their fiduciary duty to me as a shareholder. So they have my trust.

If I am still here holding this stock, l believe that the value will eventually go up. If I didn’t, I would cut my losses and move on. I would understand that it’s better to take a loss than believe that the sunken costs are too much and I should just watch it go to zero.

And most importantly, if I believe in all that, and I still have my money here, then I want to give the leadership the tools that they need in order to increase the value of my investment.

Voting no is basically saying that I blame others for my mistakes. Voting no says I am invested in a company that I don’t believe in. Voting no means that I should sell and move on, but I’m too much of a coward to do so.

I just don’t understand why someone would own this one particular stock if you didn’t believe in the leadership. And if you believe in the leadership, you vote yes.

It just doesn’t seem that complicated to me.

JFC - can we please have one thread

I have no idea what flair to post this as, but FFS, why are we letting every other post be how you’re voting. We literally spent the last 5 years forbidding people from posting the number of shares they have, and now we just let anyone with a match and a candle try to gaslight the whole sub. This is worse than a political sub right now, and that’s really annoying.

Yes, let’s let people have a conversation about it. But can we have a single effing centralized thread? Maybe make a daily thread specifically for that reason and delete the others.

I know this is possible because you have done it a million times in the past.

Take control of this sub and clean up the riff raff.
