First Soulslike I've actually fallen in love with. Now I need NG+ builds!
I've finished Lies of P, Nioh, Wukong and Code Vein and while they were fun, I never had a moment that had me go "man I love this game" like it so often happens in actual FromSoft games. But then this game comes out on PS+, I try it because I remember seeing LilAggy and Parky playing it, and now I've finally found a Soulslike I truly enjoy. And I couldn't be happier about it, since it really does a do great job of mostly capturing the feeling of going through the areas of a Souls game.
I've finished the game just a couple hours ago (Got the Dream ending) and since I only have the endings and bamboozlings trophies to go, and I also learn you keep all the Chisels, I wanna run through the game again on NG+
I used a hybrid build of Lashing Whip with parry as my main weapon for bosses or red eyed enemies and the Boreal Abyss for magic during exploration, which is pretty much how I play all Souls games. Absolutely loved it and never looked back once I got the whip but I wanna change it up now, branch into other weapons or maybe even a full caster build.
So what are some really strong NG+ builds that could be even more effective than 12 disciplines Lashing Whip? I know the clash spamming on the dual blades is lowkey broken but what else besides that is similarly strong?
